The Customs Authority is responsible for collecting duties, taxes, and fees on imported and exported goods for the benefit of the State Budget, as well as collecting parafiscal charges on behalf of the General Compensation Fund and interprofessional funds.

In addition, the Customs Authority ensures the proper collection of these duties and taxes and contributes to the fight against tax evasion.
